mobile estimation
A series of sculptural works and sketches based on ideas of stability and structure, location and mobility, value and possession. Using collected stones from the forest of Schloss Solitude in Stuttgart, Germany, these dollied structures are mortared with silicone rubber by sealing and drawing around the seams of the individual stones in the works. The result is a carefully constructed mass that is a mobilized collection and marker of place.
